What is Speech Pathology?
Speech pathology intervention aims at increasing a child’s ability to communicate, participate and engage with others effectively. This might be through play, written language, games or following stories and instructions. When a child is able to communicate effectively it increases their confidence, independence and participation.
What about Funding?
Speech Hut is able to provide services for people without a referral. You can ring and make an initial booking at any time. Other ways to support payments include:

I’m Rachael Williams a Speech Pathologist based on the Sunshine Coast. I have over 7 years experience in Speech Pathology, with a special interest in working with children who have experienced trauma and mental health issues. I work with children of all ages and their families, using games and enjoyable activities to assess, diagnose and treat issues relating to speech, literacy, language and social skills.
