Do I need a referral?

No, you don't need a referral to access speech pathology intervention. Just call us to make a booking.

How does a Medicare Rebate work?

To receive a Medicare rebate you must have a GP referral. GP referral can come under a few different names: Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP), Team Care Arrangement (TCA) or Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC).

The session is paid in full, then the Medicare rebate is actioned. There is a maximum of 5 sessions per year under the Medicare rebate scheme.

Do you take Private Health?

Yes, we accept private health.

Self-funded?

You can choose to fund for speech pathology intervention privately. Please email or call me to discuss fees and options for ongoing support.

How much does Speech Hut charge?

Fees are determined case by case, please give me a call or email and we can discuss your options.

Speech Hut and the NDIS

Speech Hut aims to support children who receive support under the National Disability Insurance Scheme. If your plan is self-managed or plan managed you can access services with us.
